LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The Little Rock Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a man they believe is connected to the murder of a 7-year-old Pine Bluff girl over the weekend.
Police said in a press conference on Tuesday afternoon that they have increased the reward in finding Kenjata Daniels Jr. to $25,000.
They said they have learned that Chloe was in the company of someone who was in an ongoing conflict with the suspect.
Police said they were called to the 700 block of Fair Park Blvd just before 11:30 am near the Little Rock Zoo.
They said Chloe had been transported to Arkansas Children's Hospital by someone.
Medical staff informed the police Chloe's injuries were fatal.
Police said at the hospital, they found the vehicle that had been struck by apparent gunfire.
Upon finding the vehicle, police worked to secure the evidence and began to search for additional evidence on Fair Park Boulevard.
Officers said they determined the shooting was an isolated incident and that detectives are still working on the case.
If anyone knows of his whereabouts, please contact LRPD at 501-371-4636 or call anonymously at 501-371-4636.

Thoughts? As of this posting date (June 1st, 2022), there is still a posting on the Little Rock Police Department's Facebook page that is yet to be edited or updated with any news of a capture. And it is really frustrating how we post one case of a fugitive wanted for the senseless gun violence murder or a child, he thankfully gets captured, but then we get two more fugitives in a row also wanted for the same exact thing.
Justice needs to be done for Chloe Alexander, but there is absolutely nothing being done to make sure they won't be more children who want have to die unnecessarily in the future.
