From kchi.com:
A death investigation dating to 2002 resulted in a recent warrant. 41-year-old Jennifer Anne Hall of Overland Park Kansas is wanted on a Livingston County warrant for alleged 1st Degree Murder. Hall may be using the last name Semaboye and is believed to be aware of an existing arrest warrant.
According to the Probable Cause Statement filed with the Livingston County Prosecuting Attorney, the charges stem from the investigation of the death of Fern Franco, who died on May 18th of 2002 at the Medical Center in Chillicothe. Hall had been a respiratory therapist at the facility at the time. The statement goes on to say while Hall was employed at the medical center, the number of “Codes” or “Code Blue” cardiac incidents rose alarmingly, with 18 “Codes” during that period and nine of those patients died. The report also notes the rate of “Codes” returned to ‘historical frequency’ after Hall left the Medical Center.
Chillicothe Police Chief Jon Maples says the investigation is ongoing and may result in additional charges.
The warrant includes no bond allowed

Thoughts? As of this posting date (May 8th, 2022), there is still no activity in Missouri casenet records since a warrant for Hall was issued back on May 4th, 2022.

Also it seems Hall was long suspected of purposely injecting patients starting in 2002 and there were civil suits against the Chillicothe Medical Center (although the lawsuit was against the center and not specifically against her, she was named in it and referred to as a "serial killer") but for whatever reasons it seems there wasn't enough evidnce to criminally charge her in any of the cases until now.
Hall was also initially convicted of setting a fire at another hospital in 2001, when she was just starting out as a respiratory therapist. She served a year in prison and then her conviction was overturned. In a retrial, she was cleared.
Obviously this is a troubling case if what is alleged is true, as us longtime AMW and Unsolved Mysteries fans would get the reference she'd essentially be a female version of Dr. Michael Swango.
