While I'm sorry to find out this happened, Ernest McBride has to go down as one of the dumbest fugitives of all-time. Why use an alias of ANOTHER FUGITIVE? And one wanted for even more serious charges. Maybe he liked the name or something.
I hate to use the cliche positive out of negative but hopefully this helps draw additional attention to the manhunt for Andrews. To use a similar example, when a photo of "Jihad Ramadan" getting married was released but it turned out to be a different guy, it still renewed attention on the case, he got profiled on In Pursuit, and he felt the heat and turned himself in.

I figured the only possible case we could make case of the week for our forum for this current week (July 4th-10th, 2021) was Brian Andrews to try to make up somewhat for the massive screwup.
I'd like to remind people that the McCown family still needs justice, and that should beore important than making this case about another fugitive's stupidity.
It's just awful when I think of such a sweet innocent thing like buying a present for a granddaughter lead to such a tragedy.
Andrews needs to face the consequences and I sincerely doubt it but I hope my 0.1 sliver of hope that now that he sees his name in the news again he has a conscience when he reflects on the fourteeen years of misery he's put the McCown family though and does the right thing and turns himself in happens.
If my breath is still being hold, we'll have to catch him the old fashioned way.

It's possible he didn't know the name he was using was also a wanted fugitive. My bigger issue is how the police jumped the gun on this(not a surprise given who the sheriff of Polk County is) before confirming 100% they had the right guy. I can't imagine how the McCown family must feel having hope they could finally see justice done only to have it taken away from them. As you said, the chances of Andrews doing the right thing at this point is next to none. Here's hoping more media coverage will see to it that he is finally brought to justice.
