AIKEN, SC (WFXG) - The Aiken County Sheriff's Office has arrested three men and is looking for three more in connection to the murder of a missing man.
On Oct. 24, 2020, twenty-two-year-old Chandler Monroe Smith was reported missing by his girlfriend. He was last seen being released from the Aiken County Detention Center at around 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 22. Smith got into a red Mitsubishi sedan and was not seen again.
An investigation led the sheriff's office to a home on the 3000 block of Tundra Trail in Windsor, where investigators believe Smith was shot and killed. In November, 2020 deputies arrested John Wilson Williamson, III and Serafin Leyva, Jr.; charging them with kidnapping in connection to Smith's disappearance.
Recent developments led investigators to obtain murder arrest warrants for Jesus Moreno Negrete, Gonzalo Moreno Negrete, and Lorenzo Migeal Kissiah Negrete. Investigators believe they may have fled to Mexico to avoid arrest.
On Thursday, Mar. 4, 2021, deputies arrested a fourth suspect, Ricardo Kissiah Negrete. He was located at around 2 p.m. at a home on Thomas Park Rd. The sheriff's office has charged him with accessory after the fact to murder.
Investigators are still searching for any information that may lead them to Smith's body. If you have any information relevant to this case, contact the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office at 803-648-6811. You can provide information anonymously through Midlands Crime Stoppers. Your tip could earn you a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Thoughts? Although I don't have an 100 percent way of confirming, I'm assuming the Negretes are still at large as of today's posting date (April 6th, 2022), since I only see the already mentioned as arrested Ricardo Negrete in Aiken County inmate search currently. Articles do not specify how they're related although seeing they have the same last name in the same case I'm assuming they are.
