Marciano Alfaro is wanted for the homicide of an acquaintance, 16-year Luis Ernesto Villanueva. On July 31, 1999, authorities allege that Marciano went into a residence and stabbed Luis to death without provocation. Marciano has been on the run ever since.

Thoughts? As of today, January 2, 2022, Marciano is listed on the Fairfax County Police Department's website in a page listing their cold case wanted homicide suspects. The page was updated in September of 2021 so we can use it as a reference to confirm that Marciano is a fugitive.
It is really tragic in my view anytime a person under the age of 18 is murdered. I hope that Marciano can be apprehended one day. The only problem is that he is probably hiding in El Salvador which is not a country that has been very cooperative with extradition. They aren't as bad as Honduras but it is still a problem to get their government to cooperate.
