Back in the 2000s, I was browsing AMW's website when I saw this guy's case profiled on the site (although I'm not sure where in the Internet Archive I can still find his case).
Based on what I can remember, this guy (who was a Korean immigrant to the US) was working as a cook in a Korean/Japanese restaurant in the DC suburbs and was apparently having an affair with a married coworker when the coworker ended their affair, which made him upset. He went to his coworker's family home to confront her, but the person at home at the time was his coworker's younger sister, whom he proceeded to kill.
There were also some articles about this case in Korean-language newspapers in the US; one of those articles stated that South Korean authorities indicated that they could find no record of this guy ever returning to Korea at any time after he officially became a fugitive.

Hi Tml,
Welcome to the forum! I moved this thread to segment request since it is a question about the fugitive and not a thread. With that being said I wasn't aware our site has never profiled Lee so I will do so first chance I get in the next few days.
