On February 8, 2005, authorities say that Juan Aguayo hid himself in his ex-girlfriend's vehicle. His ex-girlfriend had taken out an order of protection against him after she had been assaulted. Once his ex-girlfriend got into her car, he confronted her and drove her to a secluded area, where she was allegedly raped at knifepoint.
Two days later, Juan was arrested but would be released on bail. Since then, he has failed to appear for any of his court proceedings, and has even made threatening phone calls to his ex-girlfriend's house, threatening them with bodily harm.
In 2006, the El Paso County District Attorney requested the assistance of the US Marshals in locating Juan, who was now a fugitive. Through confidential sources, the Marshals found out that Juan had been seen at a nightclub across the border in Ciudad Juarez. Juan reportedly has family in the Mexican state of Chihuahua.
Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to contact the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (El Paso Division) at 915-534-6018 if you have any information on Juan Carlos Aguayo's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, November 15, 2021, Juan has an active 2006 UFAP case in PACER that has not been closed/dismissed without prejudice.
My biggest fear with this case is if Mexican authorities consider Juan a fugitive worth extraditing in their minds. We all know there are still issues with them extraditing their nationals wanted for homicide and child sex crimes. I really hope they take this case seriously one day.
Also I included the link to the UFAP document that was accessed from PACER and put in what is called the RECAP archive. Thankfully the public document did not disclose any details about the identity of the alleged victim in this case (which I've noticed has been an issue for some other public PACER documents when it comes to sex offenses).
