Marcelo Gomez has been wanted for a hit and run homicide in Houston County Georgia since 1997. The victim was Michael Todd Stewart. The following is a description of the accident from Stewart's loved ones on findagrave.com:
"Todd, a loving husband and father, was routinely driving his motorcycle to work at Frito-Lay on Ga. 247 just before dawn on Aug. 7, 1997 where he was less than a hundred yards from the entrance to the plant when a pickup truck pulled out in front of him. He tried to stop his motorcycle, instinctively pulling back and falling off, but as the motorcycle slammed into the side of the truck behind the driver's door, Todd, who was wearing a helmet, skidded across the pavement. If the motorist who caused the accident had stopped when he felt the bike slam into his truck, he would have walked away with minor injuries. But the driver took off and moments later a delivery truck came along in the early morning gloom, swerved to avoid the bike lying in the roadway and inadvertently ran over Todd."

Gomez is being placed in the Fugitives on TV section because he was profiled on last night's episode of In Pursuit with John Walsh (Season 3- episode 8- 10/6/2021), alongside fugitive Martin Munoz, who is wanted of Corpus Christi Texas on charges he molested his own three daughters and his stepdaughter. It is believed the pair are hiding together in Mexico as it turns out Marcelo dated Munoz's mother and helped raise him as a father figure. Munoz is also not a native speaker while Gomez is.
The Munoz case as you can see in the linked thread is pretty sickening itself but Todd Stewart deserves justice as well. Hopefully In Pursuit viewers can help make a double capture.
