From Fox 13 Seattle (q13fox.com):
SEATTLE - The family of a 20-year-old found murdered in a North Seattle alleyway is speaking out, hoping to bring their daughter's killer to justice.
On Sept. 1 around 5 a.m., a jogger found the body of Zoey Martinez in an alley near 73rd Street and Greenwood Avenue N. in Seattle's Phinney Ridge neighborhood.
"[He] threw her away like trash," said Craig Martinez, Zoey's father.
Zoey's parents, Craig and Deborah, made the painful visit to the alley where she was found for a second time since her death. Almost a month later, flowers, photos and a rose mural in the street still remain as a memorial.
"She was our daughter. We loved her. We miss her so much," Craig said.
On Sept. 15, Seattle Police named 23-year-old Jacaree Rashad Hardy as the suspect in the case. He is accused of kidnapping Zoey from a park in Maple Valley 24 hours before her body was discovered. She had been shot multiple times.
"They saw some of this on film and realize this guy is the suspect. There is a murder 2 warrant on him, extraditable through all 50 states," said Ret. Sgt. Jim Fuda with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound.
Investigators have kept the details of the case close to the vest, but are asking for the public's help in locating Hardy.
"This guy took our life, took our hearts and took our family away," Craig said.
They are holding on tight to the good memories of her. Family trips to Seaside, OR that Zoey loved so much, their house always filled with her friends and the care Zoey gave her mom after she was hospitalized with Covid. Now, the pain of losing her daughter is too much.
"They were best friends," Craig said.
Jacaree Hardy's criminal history includes convictions for Robbery 2nd Degree, Residential Burglary, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 2nd Degree and Hit and Run Attended Vehicle.
He is 6'0" and weighs 215 pounds. Police say he could be in Seattle or possibly in the Portland, Oregon area.
"This guy is armed and dangerous," said Ret. Det. Fuda. "If you know where he is, submit a tip to us."
Zoey's parents added $5,000 to the initial Crime Stoppers reward in hopes of getting Hardy caught and arrested, so they can begin to heal.
If you have any information on Hardy's whereabouts, send an anonymous tip through the P3Tips app or call 1-800-222-TIPS(8477). You can also submit tips at www.P3Tips.com. If your tip leads to his arrest, you will be paid $6,000 cash.
"He should be turned in. If this was your daughter or your friend, you can’t trust this guy. He’s pulled the trigger. He’s a murderer… Justice has to be served here and we want him bad," Craig said.

Thoughts? Based on the above article's posting date, Hardy was still at large at least as of September 30th, 2021. This is an extremely concerning case to me considering Zoey was a female jogger by herself in a park (which is fine by the way, so many times people say oh its dangerous for women to be out there jogging so late or so early. Why not tell men not to abduct and murder women instead?) so I fear for the potential of re-offense by the offender in her case, in this case the alleged suspect being Hardy.
