42-year-old Jason Alvin Hines is scheduled to be profiled on the October 20th, 2021 episode of In Pursuit with John Walsh on the Investigation Discovery channel. (Season 3- episode 10)
In August 2017, Hines was arrested after police report where three victims, who allegedly had no knowledge of each other, came forward to accuse him of molesting them.
Police say that in 2009 Jason Alvin Hines allegedly touched a teenage girl under her bathing suit as they were in a hot tub with other children.
Police say Hines was a family friend and threatened to harm the victim's mother if she told her about the incident. The same teenager told investigators that this was not the only time Hines behaved in this way.
Police also report that in 2013 a woman, who met Hines on an online dating website, said that Hines inappropriately touched her pre-teen daughter. Hines was interviewed and denied touching the victim saying he was just checking to make sure she did not wet the bed.
In June 2016, another woman reported to police that Hines touched her adolescent daughter and took pictures of her. Hines and the victim's mother were dating after meeting on an online dating website," court paperwork said.
Hines reportedly told police that he was using his cell phone flashlight to check on the girl after she used the restroom.
According to a search I did of Maricopa County online court records, Hines was allowed to bond out on just $150,000 on August 31st, 2017. Apparently in 2020, Hines stopped showing up for his court hearings and a warrant was issued on March 5th, 2020. (Hence the wanted year in our thread title).
A search I did shows nothing but procedural events such as bond forfeiture hearings since that warrant as of today's posting date (September 28th, 2021).
There is another element to this case in that Jason's wife, Sandee Hines, is also missing. Online previews for In Pursuit mention Hines as "accused of sexually abusing multiple minors, and possibly involved in his wife's disappearance." A social media search shows many posts concerned for her as a missing person. I know in some of these cases where the husband/boyfriend is accused of a crime and their significant other also disappears, their partner either goes on the run willingly or people accuse her of such (that's not the case with the overall postings I've found for Sandee just in general), but unless we get more information, Sandee should in my opinion be considered as in danger regardless of if she went with Hines willingly or not, as he is a wanted fugitive accused of serious crimes against children, and hopefully the In Pursuit not only catches Hines so hopefully there can be justice if he's proven guilty and convicted but also helps to find Sandee alive and safe.
The In Pursuit airing isn't for a few weeks but the website jasonalvinhineswanted.com has a tips section. I am not sure who is behind the website, but as long as it helps catch Hines, it probably wouldn't hurt to send them tips in the meantime as long as it helps catches him/finds Sandee.
