(Above: Tresp, Circa 1998. Photo Credit: Charley Project) Emma Tresp went missing in rural New Mexico over 15 years ago. She was aired on Mar 13, 1999. 71-year old Emma was driving to a religious retreat near Pecos, New Mexico on Aug 31, 1998. She was last seen at a gas station in the nearby town of Santa Rosa. Her car was later found lodged on a rock on a rural Forestry road near Pecos. It's believed that she walked away from her car with her purse to get help but she has never been seen again. She was in a good mental state but got lost easily when driving. Thoughts? Since she hasn't been heard from for over 15 years and she would be nearly 88-years old if still alive, I feel that she sadly died from the elements after crashing her car. Not much else to work with here. www.charleyproject.org/cases/t/tresp_emma.htmlAdmin Note #1: According to the Charley Project, anyone having information should call the New Mexico State Police at 1-505-827-9076Admin Note #2: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

Not that it makes it any better since she still died, but I hope if she did pass away, it wasn't because someone harmed her. She was literally in the middle of nowhere carrying a purse- in New Mexico- where we've seen lots of mysterious disappearances happen. She could have asked for help from the wrong person. Sadly it doesn't look too hopeful.
