Remarks: The woman wore a silver/blue hooded sweatshirt with a California Conservation Corps - “Delta Fire Crew 5” emblem; a tan/white fleece jacket; blue denim pants; white socks; and black high-top shoes (size 7.5). She also wore a watch; a necklace with frog pendant; a white bracelet with green charms; white metal hoop earrings; and a small sword charm.
Details:
On March 30, 2008, the skeletal remains of an unidentified 25 to 35-year-old White (possibly mixed race) female were discovered by a fisherman on the north bank of the Georgiana Slough Levee in Sacramento, CA. Investigators believe the victim’s death occurred in late 2004. The victim was fully dressed and wearing various items of jewelry, including a frog pendant (shown above). The anthropological examination indicated the victim is predominately European ancestry with unknown components of Asian and African admixture. DNA is in CODIS at the National Level. Dental charting and X-rays are also available for comparison purposes.

Update: In 2022, Sacramento County Jane Doe was identified as Shannon Vielguth. She was 35 years old and lived a transient lifestyle.
