Reyes Osorio Jaimes is accused of shooting 42-year old Rene Santamaria to death. Reyes (aka. "La Burra") was at a three-day Fourth of July party being hosted at a mobile home park. As the party was ending, he reportedly got into an argument with Rene. That's when Reyes allegedly shot and killed Rene and shot and wounded another man. The injured man was reportedly ordered to drive Reyes out of the subdivision. Reyes has been a fugitive ever since.

Thoughts? As of today, August 20, 2021, Reyes still has a listed homicide warrant in the Florida Statewide Warrants Database. I learned about this case a few months ago but had not got around to posting it until now.
The article I read through a google search indicted that Reyes was probably trying to get to Mexico after Rene's homicide. Since he's been on the run for 18 years, it seems like he did flee there initially.
