A Florida man who lost his hands and feet to bacterial meningitis is a person of interest in the deaths of his parents, police say. Sean Petrozzino, 30, had moved in with his parents, Nancy, 64 and Michael, 63, after separating from his wife. On Wednesday, the couple was found fatally shot in their home, and their son was nowhere to be found. Cops ruled their deaths homicides. Although he has not been named a suspect, police say Petrozzino is dangerous. "We do believe he has a firearm. He’s considered dangerous and they believe he is in the south Florida area," Orange County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Jane Watrel told WFTV. On Wednesday, police released a photo of Petrozzino taken at an ATM. Police released the photo of the man so that the public might be able to identify him by his surgery scars. Deputies also said they are searching for a red, four-door Toyota with the Florida license plate of 112VZY. Anyone with information about Petrozzino's whereabouts is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-8477. Although Petrozzino is only a person of interest, I'm still trying to figure out how it seems police believe a man with no arms and legs is a possible suspect. Perhaps somehow with his prosthetic arms he could have pulled the trigger. I do have to admit Petrozzino's defense attorney will have a good argument if and when he's caught and if he's charged. But let's catch Petrozzino first so we can figure out all the clues to this puzzle.

From that ATM photo, it looks like Sean Petrozzino has prosthetic arms and legs since he's standing up, so he could have very well shot and killed his parents. But yes, let's find him so we can learn all the details of this case.

I knew about the prosthetic arms, but it still seemed like a high-degree of difficulty, but maybe it's just my ignorance of what people can do with them.

A Prosthetics expert interviewed in articles says handless people do have the ability to fire weapons without "special devices." Sorry as the focus should be on finding justice for Sean's parents, but since this is a question it seems everyone is asking about this case, it's probably best to try to explain it so we can get that part over with and focus on the search for Sean Petrozzino. And a reminder himself that Sean himself currently hasn't been charged with his parents' murder, but is still considered a dangerous person of interest. globalgrind.com/2014/11/06/florida-man-with-no-hands-legs-on-the-run-from-police/

I don't even know that he pulled the trigger. He could've talked someone else into killing his parents, couldn't he?

I don't even know that he pulled the trigger. He could've talked someone else into killing his parents, couldn't he? Anything is possible I guess. He could have pulled the trigger. He could have had someone else pull the trigger. He could be innocent. He could be a victim himself for all we know. Nothing's been proven in a court of law yet and he's only a person of interest. But the fact of the matter is there seems to be a need to locate him in order to solve the case.

I just want to add something. I've seen nothing but jokes all over the internet about this case. Which is fine. I understand this is a bizarre case, and people are making fun of a strange situation and it doesn't mean they don't care. Some people are making fun of the media coverage which seems to have delved into the unintentional comedy spectrum as they call Petrozzino "armed and dangerous" without any sense of irony. (The Daily Show among other shows have been kings at getting humor out of tragedies by reflecting they're tragedies but making fun of the absurdities of the way the media handles them).
I do want to remind everyone though two people, described as loving parents, are dead, and were brutally murdered, whether Sean turns out to have had anything to do with it or not. We need to remember Nancy and Michael Petrozzino and get justice for them as well. There's some bizarre aspects I can't blame people for making fun of, but it doesn't take away that this case is a tragedy.

Petrozzino shot himself to death in Memphis, Tennesse after a traffic stop. Obviously, this investigation will likely continue, but the fact he was able to kill himself with a gun in my opinion proves he could have been capable of firing one at his parents. Although oddly enough they say the pistol he used to commit suicide was a different gun. Some times we can celebrate after a capture or death of some fugitives, but I just find this another sad update to a really tragic story. www.wesh.com/news/suicide-victim-identified-as-person-of-interest-in-parents-deaths/29679342
