Special victims detectives in Brooklyn need the public’s help in finding the creep who sexually abused two women inside Prospect Park.
The NYPD released on July 17 a sketch of the deviant behind the two incidents, both of which occurred a week earlier, on July 10, inside the park near the corner of Prospect Park West and 5th Street.
Law enforcement sources said the attacker first accosted a 34-year-old woman at about 1 p.m. on July 10, approaching her from behind and pushing her up against a number of large rocks.
After pinning the woman, authorities said, the creep placed his hand over her mouth, held down her arms and pressed his body against hers. The suspect then produced a condom wrapper and threatened to hurt the woman if she didn’t comply with his demands.
But when he went to place the wrapper on the rocks, cops said, he let the woman loose. The victim then ran off in an unknown direction; she was not physically injured in the attack.
About 4 1/2 hours later, law enforcement sources reported, a 57-year-old woman walking on a trail inside the park at 5:30 p.m. on July 10 spotted the same creep masturbating nearby. After she walked past him, the suspect began following her.
When the victim turned to see if the man was still following her, police noted, she got a nasty surprise, as the deviant ejaculated onto her torso and arm. The creep then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The victim did not suffer physical injuries in the second incident, authorities said.
Both incidents were reported to the 78th Precinct.
Based on the information police received, the creep was described as a Hispanic male with facial hair standing 6 feet tall and believed to be 25 to 30 years of age.
