From chroniclet.com:
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information leading to the capture of a Lorain woman wanted for allegedly violating the terms of her pre-trial release while awaiting trial on charges she caused a fatal traffic crash in Lorain last year.
Valerie Thompson is being sought by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force for alleged release violations related to her indictment on charges of aggravated vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, endangering children and driving under suspension.
Thompson, 23, is a white female, about 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing about 120 pounds, who was out on bond on a GPS monitor when she allegedly violated a judge's orders. According to court records, Lorain County Common Pleas Judge John Miraldi revoked Thompson's bond over alleged violations of her house arrest conditions and issued a warrant for her arrest on May 26.
Thompson is facing charges she allegedly causing the death of an 18-year-old Elyria woman, Katlin Daniels, in a traffic crash on the Henderson Bridge in Lorain on June 13.
Lorain police said Daniels was a back seat passenger in a 1995 Honda Civic driven by Thompson that was racing another Honda Civic northbound on the bridge shortly before 11 p.m. the night of the crash.
Police said Thompson was speeding as the car exited the bridge, missed a curve in the road, went off the road and collided with a guardrail. The car hit a utility pole at the part of the car where Daniels was sitting, and she was pronounced dead on arrival at Mercy Health Lorain.
Thompson also was treated for injuries suffered in the crash, and police said she was driving on a suspended license and suspected of being under the influence of alcohol.
The crash investigation closed the bridge for six hours.
Anyone with information on Thompson's whereabouts can call the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at (866) 4WANTED or text the keyword WANTED and the tip to 847411.
Tipsters also may call the Lorain County Sheriff's Office at (440) 323-1212 or call (216) 276-3982.
Tipsters may remain anonymous and reward money is available.

Thoughts? Based on the above article's posting date, Thompson was still at large at least as of May 30th, 2021. A search of Lorain County's online court records shows the last event as Thompson waiving her right to a speedy trial back on April 14th (why delay a trial you're not going to show up for anyway apparently) but I'll continue to monitor the online docket.
