From foxbaltimore.com:
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - We’re learning more about the shooting death of an MTA mobility bus driver who was gunned down while on the job. And there’s a plea from the suspect’s grandmother to her grandson.
Charging documents reveal a suspect, who’s still on the loose, allegedly carried out his attack against Frankye Duckett.
According to charging documents obtained by FOX45, the incident began when Duckett picked up an elderly woman on Mulberry Street.
During that pick-up, there was an argument between Duckett and a man, later identified as Marquise Poteat, the elderly woman’s grandson.
Duckett’s family members say they’ve been told surveillance video from the bus reveals the argument was over Duckett telling Poteat that he couldn’t come on the bus without wearing a face mask.
Later, police say, Poteat arrived where the woman was dropped off, then shot and killed Duckett.
“Just for someone to take a life, it’s just sad. And it’s getting worse; it’s not getting any better,” said Charles Jackson, Duckett’s stepfather.
Police have arrested Ernest Ford, the suspected getaway driver. He’s charged with murder.
But Poteat remains on the loose. His grandmother told FOX45 “he needs to turn himself in.“
If you have any information that could help police catch Poteat and want to remain anonymous, call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

Thoughts? Although I'm admittedly not 100.0 percent sure, I feel it is safe to reasonably assume Poteat is still at large as of today's posting date (March 26th, 2021) since this is a relatively high profile case in Baltimore and there have been multiple articles over the past three months mentioning Poteat as unfortunately at large at the time of publication. Of course, if that status has since changed and/or changes in the future, anyone is more than welcome to email our website contact form and let us know.
This is one of the most senseless murders I've come across in recent memory, and unfortunately it's not the first murder over someone just doing their job and telling someone to wear a mask during a pandemic.
Poteat already showed no regard for his own grandmother's safety, let alone any elderly woman, but then allegedly escalated to a homicide.
If this can set him off, anything can. Poteat needs to be caught NOW.
