HARRISBURG, Ill. (KFVS) - Illinois State Police are looking for a murder suspect.
Alexander McWilliam, 36, of Harrisburg, is wanted on a first-degree murder charge in connection to the March 13 shooting death of Mishealia M. Meredith.
He was described 5-feet, 10-inches and weighs approximately 215 pounds.
He has black hair and brown eyes.
McWilliam is considered armed and dangerous.
McWilliam has a long history of being in the Saline County Courthouse.
He has been in legal trouble since 2006. Some of his previous charges include felony possession, use of a weapon, DUI, reckless driving, disregard to a stop sign and two speeding tickets.
In 2018, McWilliam was charged with murder intent to kill, aggravated battery, discharging a firearm and obstructing justice and leaving the state.
He was sent to state prison for obstructing justice.
Now, less than a year after being released from prison, police say they found evidence at a home in Eldorado linking him to the shooting death of Meredith.
If you see McWilliam or know his current whereabouts, investigators say to not approach him and immediately call 911.

Thoughts? As far as I can tell, McWilliam is still at large as of today's posting date (March 22nd, 2021) since there is still a posting on the Illinois State Police Facebook page that is yet to be edited or updated with any news of a capture. And yeah although it is unclear from articles how McWilliams and Mishealia Meredith knew each other, or if they did, for the second day in a row we have a fugitive who possibly got away with murder accused in yet another killing. That's why it is important to get McWilliam off the street and make sure justice is served this time if he is proven guilty in a court of law.
