Keandre Demond Reed is accusing of shooting 26-year old Rene Chaney Knox to death. According to the Harris County Court Records database, charges were filed against Keandre on April 10, 2007. A document in the database mentions that Keandre is the alleged suspect in this case. Rene was a Hurricane Katrina evacuee from New Orleans.

Thoughts? As of today, February 26, 2021, the murder case against Keandre in the Harris County Court Records database is in Warrant/Citation Issued Status. It also lists Keandre as currently "not in custody".
I'm a little bit surprised as to why Keandre remains a fugitive nearly 14 years after Rene's murder. I feel this may be because of a general lack of publicity on Keandre's wanted status based on google searches that I did.
