Details: At approximately 1:00 p.m. EST on January 6, 2021, multiple law enforcement agencies received reports of a suspected pipe bomb with wires at the headquarters of the Republican National Committee (RNC) located at 310 First Street Southeast in Washington, D.C. At approximately 1:15 p.m. EST, a second suspected pipe bomb with similar descriptors was reported at the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) at 430 South Capitol Street Southeast #3 in Washington, D.C. If the same perpetrator's putting pipe bombs in both major party's committee headquarters, he or she is more likely not aligned with DC's Overton Window, and/or more likely bitter at the entire DC political establishment. Even someone who still gives either or both parties, as they've been publicly disgraced throughout the '010s, any credibility, could've still had a falling-out with the parties' boards of directors or chair people about how the party structures were being managed, or upset with how some recent primaries have gone in both parties. Hopefully detectives and investigators can join forces with informants who're similarly aware that the two parties, the two-party system, and DC as a whole, aren't as monolithic as the cable news hexopoly cracks them up to be; That could provide insights that would speed up the manhunt.

I should have clarified while I meant a separate crime from the later events of the day it happened on the same day- while there is a very small percentage of a chance of coincidence- it's still in my opinion part of the protests that lead up the Capitol riots.

I heard on tv (wish I can find the article) that the Captiol Police chief (who resigned) thinks the bombs may have been intentionally placed in the headquarters to divert attention from the march to the Capitol- which makes sense. (Most of these marchers were upset about both parties for the election results- grasping on conspiracy theories that one side rigged it- while angry at the other side for thinking they didn't do enough to "stop the steal" *sigh* so I thought that's why both parties headquarters may have been targeted as part of the overall attack but the divert attention away from the "main" attack is a much more plausible explanation imo- in any case I hope they find who placed them).

There is an update in the FBI now says the pipe bombs were placed at the DNC and RNC headquarters the night before the riots.

The FBI poster on the site currently now says they were planted around 7:30-8:30pm on the night of January 5th.
Whoever was responsible for these pipe bombs being placed, was likely not at the capital on January 6th. The clothing this person is wearing in particular the sneakers is what someone under the age of 35 would wear, but they have a very odd way of walking as seen on surveillance video.
Also the reason this person hasn’t been caught yet, is because this person is likely that they are from the D.C. area, so planting these explosive devices and getting out of dodge was simple for them. I also feel like if they don’t live in the area they likely live within 6 hours of D.C. but are familiar with the area.
I also must speculate that this person may be someone who works from home or has his own business as an owner operator in the blue collar sector thus they could have still taken calls like usual or in the case if they were a owner operator type, they could say “hey I have to see a job site or look at some equipment” something along those lines that is believable.

You'd think their gait would be a dead-giveaway, too. There have been crimes solved because of that.
