WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies in Washington County, TN are searching for a man wanted on a first-degree murder charge.
Ralph Eugene Davenport, 47, is considered armed and dangerous. He's charged in the shooting death of Leslie Dawn Belt, 43.
The shooting happened Tuesday night at a residence on Ford Creek Road.
Authorities say Davenport was last seen driving a white, 2001 Ford van, possibly with a ladder on its top. He is 6'0', weighs 245 pounds, has grayish-brown hair, and brown eyes.
Davenport was on Federal Supervised Release following a 1993 conviction for voluntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a Johnson City man.
Deputies ask that you please do not confront Davenport in any way. Please call 9-1-1 if you see him.
