How did they come up with that nickname? UPDATE: I read the article. He apparently left a trail of cigarette packs and dirty diapers throughout the woods. He must've dumpster-dived to collect the diapers, and thrown 'em into the woods in a feeble attempt to slow down law enforcement.

I never thought I'd see the day where we sleuthed about a fugitive's diapers LOL, but I've read speculation the reason is so he can stay in one place without moving around. But your theory is good too.

A few updates, most we already know but didn't get a chance to add them to our site yet: -Authorities believe they have found Eric's food supplies and speculate will likely start breaking into cabins or searching through trash bins. -I can't believe I'm even talking about this again, but DNA tests on the soiled diapers have been inconclusive and may or not belong to Frein. So he may not be the diaper sniper after all. In all seriousness, I looked on various Facebook pages and the comments and I must say I'm amazed by the courage and heart of many of the residents there. Not making a criticism but I really couldn't blame anyone if their patience was wearing thin- their lives have entered a third week of interruption- but I've seen most, while obviously wanting this end, stand strong behind the PSP (Pennsylvania State Police) and want to see Frein brought to justice. Obviously, there are upset posters as well, but just as many defending the efforts and telling everyone to let LE do their jobs. (Mostly everyone patience wearing thin or not wants to see Frein brought to justice obviously, but for the most part many posters seem to be obviously affected but understanding as to the length of the manhunt.) www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2014/10/police_seize_eric_freins_food.html

Let's not forget that Eric Rudolph managed to spend five years on the run in similar conditions as Eric Frein currently is in. I really hope this manhunt does not last nearly that long.

Thousands of dollars have been raised for a GoFundMe campaign for a man who has been stopped and mistaken for Frein over 20 times. The money is to provide him decent transportation so he doesn't have to go through this on his way to work. Don't get me wrong, I support the manhunt, but it's pretty ridiculous this guy (James Tully) has had to go through this and nice to see him getting help. James Tully has seemingly replaced Sean Penn's body double/Jason Brown look-a-like as the most stopped guy who looks like a fugitive on the FBI's Top 10 list. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/thousands-donated-suspected-cop-killers-look-alike-n232191

Also they're talking about the capture on CNN right now if anyone wants to tune in. They're accurate this time.
