Just learned HBO Max is now streaming all seasons of The Hunt with John Walsh!
If you don't subscribe to HBO Max, you'd need a cable subscription and/or an unlimited plan with AT&T but for anyone who does figured I'd let them know.
I know in retrospect most of us prefer In Pursuit to The Hunt but for nostalgia reasons I figure some of us may want to look back at past episodes.

This could be my chance to catch the 2017 episodes that got deleted from my dad's and stepmom's system, but I have a few more questions before I dive in:
*Does HBO Max offer free trials that cover The Hunt? *How would I know whether my brother's and my TV system are cable subscribed? *Would I have to switch my cell phone / wireless provider to AT&T just to be allowed to subscribe? *What hardware do I need, such as internet devices and subscription boxes?

-There is a free trial for 7 days: www.hbomax.com/?utm_id=sa%7c71700000067030777%7c58700005868654324%7cp53631644919&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyZOk9pmt7QIVyVByCh20eADsEAAYASAAEgIz9fD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds-I think you can be cable subscribed but it depends on your package so I'd just click log into your provider on HBO Max but if you do have a cable provider you'd have to log into a cable company. So you'd need a cable company account with username and password. -Yeah pretty sure you would have to switch. That seems to be the trend these days is all these phone companies are offering different deals for different streaming services exclusive to them to try to get you to switch. Verizon offers a free year of Disney Plus but you'd have to switch to them to take advantage of it for example. HBO Max is apparently AT&T's shtick, but most of these you need to have the right unlimited plan -You'd need an Amazon firestick or Apple TV box. Firestick is pretty cheap now though like under 30 bucks. As long as you have wifi/internet capabilities.

Actually I should clarify you should be able to watch HBO Max on any phone company's cellphone, just AT&T is the only one offering it for free depending on your phone plan.

A quick search told me I could do the trial through my computer(s). I'm thinking that might be a better idea. Right now I'm under the impression that the cable logistics only apply to streaming it through a TV, and the wireless network logistics only apply to streaming it through a smartphone.

Funnily enough, HLN has been re-running The Hunt pretty frequently. I've had my DVR record all the episodes and I've got 21 recorded so far, with about 4-6 more coming soon.

Just a heads up, HBO Max is removing The Hunt by February 28th so you only have a few weeks left if you subscribe.

Well, guess I'll have to sign up for it then. I have 16 episodes on my DVR as well as several others I've digitized, but there are some episodes HLN just doesn't air (I haven't seen the Donna Borup/Mario Lozano episode in years and I've yet to see the episode about the Yiyaras come up). Being captured has nothing to do with it because they've reaired many episodes with captured fugitives.

There's various phone and cable plans with free trials if that helps.

I think there's a 7-day free trial, isn't there? I was going to go with that one.
EDIT: Ugh, nevermind, there isn't. I'll sign up for a month and just cancel as soon as I'm done. Assuming of course I don't get addicted to another show (which is highly likely, mind you).

Ugh, I've been trying to resist getting Discovery+ but this might actually be the one that makes me finally bite the bullet. There's a show on Travel Channel called Destination Fear that I like and they have a movie exclusively on D+ that has been tempting me.

I don't want to make you spend unnecessary money but seeing how The Hunt keeps getting removed from things it might be a good time to get it lol.
