FBI Crime Description:
Wei Li Pang plead guilty to a two-count information in the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri, Kansas City, Missouri, in December of 2008. The information alleges that Pang aided and abetted others in the transportation of females in interstate commerce with the intent that these females engage in prostitution inside massage parlors and elsewhere. Pang allegedly assisted in transporting at least five females in interstate commerce for illegal sexual activity between May of 2006, and May of 2007.
On July 20, 2010, a federal arrest warrant was issued for the arrest of Pang after she failed to appear for sentencing.
Thoughts? Pang was profiled briefly on AMW's second sex trafficking special on Lifetime on June 1, 2012. Reading up on the case I wasn't previously aware she has a husband who is also wanted on sex trafficking charges relating to the same prostitution ring. Sadly, I don't know what our chances of getting her back to face justice are if she and/or her husband fled back to China, but it is always possible they stayed in the U.S. and are hiding out in an Asian community. I can see Pang in San Francisco's Chinatown specfically as it is an Asian community in a large but not too large city (compared to NY or LA) where it should be easy to blend in.
