This kind of reminds me of the Abe Lebewohl (second avenue deli owner) case in the 90's that's still unsolved. Although in this case they're not saying robbery as the motive- so unfortunately this may have been personal. The article I linked to makes Mr. Khan sound like he was a great man and he definitely deserves justice. Just wanted to say this case is tragic but what I don't understand is why who would want to hurt this guy if this was robbery I have heard of a Case in Michigan where a guy named danta wright shot a teenager in the back of the head during a robbery wright is currently serving 25 to 52 years in Michigan doc but this in my opinion is very rare a "execution style" murder like this is more likely in something personal or maybe a act of horrific bigotry

In fugitive cases we know what the alleged motive is usually. Here is a case where we won’t know the motive until the suspect is caught. It could have been planned, it could have been a robbery gone awry etc Articles do say the FBI released a motive so it is possible they know a potential reason but are keeping it close to the vest for investigative reasons.

Sorry I wanted to clarify they never released a motive . I did find that oddly specific though so I do think they probably know more than they’re letting on but it would jeopardize the investigation by releasing that info.

Yeah given the location in broome county which has I believe is on the border with Pennsylvania from what I remember there only infamous crime was the mass shooting in 2009 I mean they county is roughly has a population of about 198'000 people who live there this is comparing to other metro areas like new York city Buffalo Rochester and Syracuse and Albany this is a very small area in terms of population so some one has to know something all we can do is wait and find out if anything happens as always I will keep my eyes open if I find something out
