LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Searcy police are searching for a woman in connection to a fatal hit-and-run that happened early Sunday morning, according to a press release from the agency.
Officers responded to the area of Auto Zone on East Race Street around 4:35 a.m. for an unknown trouble call. When they arrived, they found a man later identified as 28-year-old Johnny D. Williams Jr, laying on the ground unresponsive. Northstar Ambulance Service transported Williams to the local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
During the investigation, it was found that Williams was struck by a vehicle. Authorities developed 36-year-old Twyla D. Glass as a suspect.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Searcy Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 501-279-1038.
