FAIRFIELD COUNTY, SC (WACH) – Deputies need your help finding a man who tried kill both his parents, according to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office.
“He’s possibly left Fairfield County and we’ve got some leads that we’re following up on now,” said Fairfield County Sheriff, Will Montgomery.
Joshua L. Williamson is wanted on an attempted murder charge, according to the Office.
Williamson is accused of shooting his father with a rifle and choking his mother until she became unconscious.
Williamson left the area in a black 2000 Chevy Camaro with T-Tops and SC tag SPH382.
Williamson is to be considered armed and dangerous, according to deputies.
Deputies say Williamson lives in Florence and frequents Aiken County.
“This is the first time we’ve dealt with him in a situation like this,” said Montgomery.
Deputies describe Williamson as a white man who’s 5-foot-11, around 190 lbs., has black hair and blue eyes.

Thoughts? Based on the above article's posting date, Williamson was still at large at least as of October 6th, 2020. Also despite the url title, it seems Williamson's parents thankfully survived, but that doesn't lessen how allegedly dangerous he is.
