Helpless Woman Brutally Raped
Cops in Dana Point, California are searching for a man they say brutally raped a defenseless woman who suffers from Parkinson's disease. On March 26, 2002, a 50-year-old woman was waiting for the bus, when cops say a man grabbed her, dragged her into a nearby field and brutally raped her. But, cops say he left a very important clue behind.
Whose Wallet Is This?
After enduring a forceful rape, cops say the victim went straight to the hospital. But, when she got there, she found someone else's wallet in her purse. Inside the wallet, cops found several pictures and the ID card of 19-year-old Christian Navaro-Lopez. Lopez's naturalization card didn't have an address on it, but cops did find a pay stub for the restaurant where Lopez works.
After checking out the restaurant, cops weren't able to find him. Now, cops know who they're looking for and just need your help to track him down.
Thoughts? Lopez was aired on March 19th, 2005 on AMW although I don't know the profile length. Me and HeadMarshal sometimes talk about cases we're planning so we don't coincide. We have both discussed this case and I said whoever gets to it first will profile it. So apologies to HeadMarshal for me actually having the chance today.
One thing that strikes me about this case is that this occurred in Dana Point, California. While even affluent neighborhoods might have a rough patch, all I know from reading about Dana Point is it is in a VERY nice part of Orange County, California. Jason Derek Brown who we all know grew up privileged and turned into an alleged murderer anyway, grew up in the area.
Christian Lopez was stupid enough to leave his wallet behind- but yet has still managed to stay on the run for this long. (Sort of similar to how Timothy Marino was stupid enough to record his alleged rape and is still on the run). Perhaps it's because we only have one old picture of him or because he's deep down in Mexico. But despite the passage of time, it's imperative he gets caught. Usually a guy getting the impulse to rape isn't a one-time thing. Call the Dana Point police if you have any information on this case.
