From News 4 San Antonio:
SAN ANTONIO -- The search continues for 39 year old Valerie Ingorvaia who has been missing since the Thanksgiving holiday.
"We need help, this is not like my sister, " said Roxanne Mendiola, Ingorvaia's sister.
Mendiola says her sister is a loving, outgoing mother of five, for their mother Catharina her daughter's disappearance is unbearable.
"We're thinking it's a dream, she's gonna come home." Mendiola went on to say her sister spent Thanksgiving in Fort Worth and was expected back in San Antonio the next morning, November 29th, 2019. Through Google Maps, Mediola says she tracked her sisters location as she traveled home.
"I was able to track her all the way down to Highway 173 at 10:22 am, she she was between Hondo and Castroville when her location was off."
Mendiola says her sister never turned off her location. "However Valerie was last seen with a gentleman by the name of Chance Stelzig, he is a person of interest in this case, at this point we can't rule out foul play, " said Officer Alisia Pruneda, a spokesperson with the San Antonio Police Department.
Chance Stelzig is currently in the Bexar County Jail charged with murder. In June, Stelzig was indicted by a Bexar County Grand Jury. The indictment alleged that on November 17, 2019, Stelzig beat a man to death with a baseball bat.
Mendiola says she and her mother didn't even know about Chance Stelzig or that he was traveling with Valerie to Fort Worth.
"I want to know what happened to Valerie." Mediola says her family has set up a Facebook page focused on finding Valerie, they're also trying to raise money to hire a private investigator.
"I'm gonna do what it take to find my sister and bring her home, " said Mendiola.
San Antonio Police say Ingorvaia's disappearance is a joint investigation between with Fort Worth Police Department and San Antonio Police Department.
Callers with information on Ingorvaia's whereabouts can call: FWPD at 817-392-4222 or SAPD Missing Persons Unit at 210-207-7660.

Thoughts? As of this posting date (September 14th, 2020), there is still an active Facebook page saying that Valerie is unfortunately still missing: m.facebook.com/Missing-Person-Valerie-Ingorvaia-101539764775803/
Also, we previously covered the fugitive manhunt for Chance Stelzig: amwfans.com/thread/9962/chance-stelzig-texas-2019
My apologies that it took so long to have a stand-alone missing thread for Valerie, just it is usually site policy that we need a news article officially stating someone is considered a missing person by police to post the case on our site. (We had more leeway to mention Valerie in the Stelzig fugitive thread since it was additional commentary to a news article about an official manhunt). I looked to see if there were are any updates and saw the news article which allowed me to make a personal thread for her as opposed to just mentioning her with Stelzig.
I hope now that it looks like the search for Valerie is getting more serious, there will be answers soon.
