From wsbtv.com:
WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities are warning people to be on alert for two men accused of shooting a deputy in north Georgia.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says Dalton Potter, 29, and Jonathan Hosmer, 47, wanted Texas fugitives, were driving a stolen trailer in Dalton, Georgia early Monday morning.
When Whitfield County Darrell Hackney tried to conduct a traffic stop, authorities say Potter fired shots at the deputy from inside his vehicle.
Hackney was hit by gunfire, but the GBI says his ballistic vest prevented serious injury.
Hackney and another Whitfield County deputy, Adrian Gomez, returned fire, but Potter and Hosmer escaped driving south on Interstate 75.
The GBI says Potter later wrecked the truck, and the stolen trailer on I-75 S near the Whitfield/Gordon County line.
Potter and Hosmer escaped into the woods and have not yet been captured.
A home surveillance system in a subdivision near the truck wreck caught video of Hosmer leaving the wreck scene.

Thoughts? Based on local articles, Potter and Hosmer were still at large at least as of September 7th, 2020. I am also placing this case in the Fugitives on TV section because at the very least ABC News has done a story on the manhunt: abcnews.go.com/US/manhunt-armed-dangerous-29-year-suspected-shooting-georgia/story?id=72861669
Also the GBI and Whtifield County Sheriff's Office is investigating according to articles but some articles suggest to just call 911 immediately wherever you spot these two guys because of how immediately allegedly dangerous they are.
