CAUTION
Bernabe Roman is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of a male acquaintance in Athens, Alabama. The two men were attending a party in December of 1997, when they reportedly got into an argument. Before a fist fight ensued, Roman allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot the man.
Roman was charged with murder and a state arrest warrant was issued on December 25, 1997, by the District Court of Limestone County, Alabama. On April 1, 1998, a federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Northern District of Alabama, after Roman was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Additionally, according to media reports from 2005, the name of the victim was 21-year old Jose Salinas Gomez.
Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to contact the FBI's Birmingham field office at 205-326-6166 if you have any information on Bernabe Roman's whereabouts.

----
Thoughts? As of today, August 16, 2020, the UFAP case for Bernabe Roman in PACER shows no movement since it was issued in 1998. Since Bernabe Roman was featured on the FBI's site until 2010, we know for sure that he' s still at large as of today.
I suspect the FBI is still involved in this manhunt. Bernabe was most likely removed from the featured fugitives page to put more recent cases on the site, and/or because of a lack of leads.
