SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a man accused of shooting at Sacramento police.
The man, identified as 50-year-old Albert Wheeler, shot his gun and hit an officer's car last week before driving away. No officers were hurt.
CHP issued a Blue Alert last week for Yolo, Placer, Sacramento and Sutter counties as law enforcement in the region searched for Wheeler.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts are encouraged to call the ATF at 1-888-283-8477. All calls are kept confidential.
