Authorities in San Antonio, Texas are searching for the unidentified killer of 12-year old Rosa Sandoval. AMW aired the case in 2004 and 2005. On May 28, 2004, Rosa was last seen at her home when she disappeared. It's unclear whether she disappeared in the evening or when she went to school. The FBI got involved in the search for her, but tragically, her remains were found in a wooded area that December. The only publicized lead came from the discovery of a picture of Rosa inside a 1983 blue Oldsmobile in 2005, the vehicle was in a junkyard. Thoughts? Despite this being the unsolved case of a murdered child, I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more attention and coverage. It doesn't seem like authorities in San Antonio know much about what might have happened to her. As for the car in the junkyard, if that was the killer's vehicle, then he or she may have wanted to get rid of it after killing her. Admin Note #1: According to online articles, investigators say sometimes people are more inclined to talk after some time has passed. If you can help detectives bring Rosa's killer to justice, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210 224-stop.Admin Note #2: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-formwww.kens5.com/story/news/local/2014/06/23/10221154/

Whenever I hear about a missing child murdered and a car involved I always think back to how badly the Adam Walsh case was handled. How they simply lost a car that could have helped erase any doubt Ottis Toole was the killer long before 2008.
I hope they got all the evidence they needed from that car. Since the car had a picture of her in it, my guess is the killer may have not been a stranger but someone with a long, sick obsession with her.
