From wspynews.com:
"Our sister station WLBK says the alleged shooter in a Fourth of July shooting outside a DeKalb gas station has been identified and authorities say he has ties to Kendall County.
An arrest warrant on a charge of first-degree murder has been issued for 22-year-old Esaiah Escamilla of Aurora, who DeKalb Police say also has ties to Plano and Montgomery.
Kendall County Court records show 2016 charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and traffic citations. The case resulted in a conviction for Retail Theft. Police have not further elaborated on the Kendall County ties at this point.
Police allege Escamilla fired the shots that killed 29-year-old Chrishun Keeler-Tyus outside the Fasmart gas station on South Fourth Street on the afternoon of July 4. Prosecutors have said Tyus’ girlfriend was also wounded in the shooting.
Police have said the shooting followed a series of events that started with a disagreement at the gas station between Tyus and 35-year-old Katrina Edwards of DeKalb.
Katrina Edwards allegedly called her husband, 32-year-old Jimmy Edwards, and prosecutors say after Jimmy Edwards got to the gas station, he gestured to a black car.
Police say that car was driven by Jimmy Edwards’ brother, 26-year-old Emanuel Edwards of DeKalb, and Escamilla allegedly opened fire from the passenger seat of that car. Police say Escamilla is a friend of Emanuel Edwards.
Katrina, Jimmy and Emanuel Edwards are each charged with first-degree murder and have all been arrested. The latest arrest happened Wednesday when Emanuel Edwards was taken into custody.
DeKalb Police on Thursday also said that Jimmy Edwards’ mother, 49-year-old Annette Romano of DeKalb, was arrested on a charge of obstructing justice on July 10.
Prosecutors have said Jimmy Edwards was driven to the gas station by his mother, and police say Romano was walking in the gas station parking lot when the shooting happened and that the car from which the shots were fired was registered to her. She was released from custody after posting bond.
Jimmy Edwards is being held in the DeKalb County Jail on $1 million bond, while Katrina Edwards is being held on $750,000 bond. Emanuel Edwards is being held on no bond until at least Tuesday when there will be a hearing on a motion by prosecutors to hold him without bail until his trial.
Police say they’re working with local and federal agencies to try and find Escamilla. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police or DeKalb County Crime Stoppers at 815-895-32-72.

Thoughts? As far as I can tell, Escamilla is still at large as of this posting date (July 20th, 2017) since the above article is from only a few days ago with no updates since. Of course, if anyone ever has any updates/proof-of-updates, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
