(Above photo credit: kfor.com) From kfor.com: OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma City police are still looking for a man wanted in connection to the murder of a 15-year-old earlier this month. On June 10, 15-year-old Xzavion Delton, was found dead in a ravine at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex. Two men, Leon Granger and Latrell Nelson, are facing charges for Delton’s murder. Granger has been arrested, and an arrest warrant was issued for Nelson. According to court documents, that night, “numerous juveniles had been in the Raindance Apartment complex” near N.W. 122nd and Penn and “were breaking into vehicles in the parking lots.” At one point, Granger and Nelson came out of an apartment and “yelled at them for breaking into their truck and then fired numerous gunshots at them.” The documents go on to say, “while running away, one of the juveniles had dropped an imitation firearm.” They then called Delton, one of their friends, and asked him to pick them up. When Delton got there, he began searching for the gun. That’s when the two suspects allegedly shot him. According to the documents, Delton took off running after being hit by the bullets and eventually collapsed, dying in the ravine. On Monday, police announced they are still looking for Nelson. Granger remains in the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of first-degree murder. If you know Nelson’s whereabouts, call 911. kfor.com/news/local/police-asking-public-for-help-in-finding-man-wanted-in-connection-to-15-year-olds-murder/Thoughts? As of this posting date (June 25th, 2020), Nelson still shows as having a warrant in Oklahoma County's public access online search. His date of birth is listed as 1/12/1994 which would make him 26 years old as of the aforementioned posting date: docs.oklahomacounty.org/sheriff/warrantsearch/warrantdetails.asp?PERSON_ID=200239983In any case this case is beyond ridiculous and also tragic in that Xzavion wasn't even part of the group breaking into the cars. I hope his friends feel at least a little guilty about the situation since if they never called him, he would have never been shot. At the same time, I see a lot of outrageous comments on social media trying to justify the alleged actions of Granger and Nelson. The bottom line is you can't take the law into your own hands. Nelson and Granger's alleged actions were illegal even if it were adults breaking into the cars unless a gun was being pointed at them. Fire a warning shot into the air and it tragically accidentally somehow strikes someone, then there's room for debate possibly and I stress possibly, but not outright shooting. Xzavion deserves justice, and hopefully he gets it. Admin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

Also one thing that also annoys me is seeing people on social media asking how come "Black Lives Matter" doesn't talk about this.
When we profile a black fugitive, it is to get justice for the victim regardless of what race the victim is just like when we profile a Hispanic or white fugitive it's to get justice for the victim, not because they're Hispanic or white. Bad guys come in all shapes, sizes and colors. I can't tell you how many times on social media I'll see someone share a fugitive story we post and ask "why doesn't Al Sharpton talk about this?" and/or if it's a Hispanic fugitive people posting the case to anti-illegal immigration groups and asking why the case isn't more talked about (not those who simply want immigrant reform to protect law-abiding immigrants while deporting criminals, but the more extreme groups). Those people don't care about the victim, they only care about enhancing their political agenda. Asking why Black Lives Matter doesn't talk about this shows you care more about proving a point and not about Xzavion.
This is a case we're posting to get justice for a black teenager who was murdered. His alleged killer needs to face the consequences because he is allegedly criminally responsible, regardless of his race.

And I for one am too young to know whether or not Sharpton's input matters or why. His peak of fame was way before my time, so I can't understand why anyone would try to blame it all on him for some kind of hypocrisy. So Sharpton didn't say anything or even find out about the case. I have to ask the people who bring his name up what the big cussing deal was! Also, this case has nothing to do with redlining, police brutality, hiring or income discrepancies, or any of the widespread systemic injustices that Black Lives Matter has been blowing whistles on, and it's sad that so few Americans online can tell the difference. It was just a wrong-target murder of a teenage child who deserves justice no matter who mortally wounded him!

No one brought up Al Sharpton in this case (that I know of), just I've unfortunately seen other cases on the forum used as an example. As a native New Yorker, I can discuss Al Sharpton and his popularity with you in private messages with you if you wish, but I don't want to veer top far off-topic, although I 100 percent agree with everything else you have to say.
