From cbsaustin.com (2016 article):
A deported felon is back in the U.S. and now accused of stalking his victim.
Gauder Nunez was convicted of indecency with a child back in 2004.
The then 13-year-old told investigators he raped her.
Nunez served two years in prison then, years later, she claims he began stalking her.
Nunez was deported to Mexico after he was released from prison.
"It's then five years later in 2011 when he comes back on the radar when he is stopped for a traffic violation in Bastrop County," said U.S Deputy Marshal Brandon Filla, Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.
Filla said Nunez gave a fake name.
He was also in the country illegally and had failed to register as a sex offender.
Then, two months later, the victim in his child indecency conviction came forward telling investigators Nunez was harassing and stalking her.
"He's gone to the effect of calling her while she is inside a grocery store, giving a description of the vehicle just so he can taunt her enough to let her know he is outside watching," Filla said. "She is in fear."
Nunez hasn't been seen since.
"I believe he is still in the East Austin area or maybe the Bastrop area," said Filla.
Nunez is 5'7" tall and weighs about 190 pounds.
If you have any information on his whereabouts call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 512-800-4213.
