Figured I'd start a thread in the General Crime on TV discussion even though we've discussed this show before. For those who don't know, American Greed: The Fugitives is a show similar to AMW/The Hunt that focuses on financial fugitives. Some AMW fugitives such as Craig Oliver, Spiro Germenis, James Hammes were also on this show. In addition, John and Julianne Dimitrion, who were on the first ever episode will be the season finale of season 1 of The Hunt with John Walsh. While this is primarily an AMW/The Hunt fan site, this is a good show too and I recommend it! Below is the Hulu database where you can watch all the episodes from season 1 and 2 for free. American Greed which focuses on already resolved cases is still on the air. I have no idea if the fugitive version of the show will ever come back but I hope it does: www.hulu.com/american-greed-the-fugitives

The original "American Greed" show also featured several fugitives who had been profiled on AMW. I believe Eric Steven Stein (Capture #551) was featured on an episode, and another featured Barry Hunt (aka, Jonathon Firestone) who was profiled on the very first 50/50 show back in 2000.

Last night on the original AG they showed Mark Weinberger. Interestingly enough, AMW was mentioned. Apparently, someone mentioned to his new girlfriend in Italy Weinberger was not who he said he was and was wanted by the FBI. She looked him up and found his profile on the AMW website along with an Interpol listing. And Interpol was alerted. I guess because there was multiple agencies involved was why AMW couldn't claim it as a direct capture, but if they were able to take partial credit they probably could have. (I would've loved to see partial credit direct results. Weinberger is partially a result of AMW, making him direct result 932 1/2 LOL)
Also, Bobby Thompson was on this past season's finale but I didn't get a chance to see it yet.

Perhaps I should mention this in the cases to be updated thread but just wanted to say I have now profiled every active case from American Greed: The Fugitives that I felt A) could be confirmed and B) there's at least a possibility the fugitive may be in the U.S. and/or a country that extradites. So unless anyone can confirm Harold and Juan Rangel are still being searched for- they are the only fugitives I feel that fit that criteria- I'm done. But for the record- I decided not to do Michael Mastro who actually was captured but then France refused to extradite him, Tomo Razmilovic who Sweden won't extradite, and Ramon Fonseca who is no longer on the FBI's website and the most recent article I found says he may be in Venezuela. If they're that uncooperative with Jesus Salazar, I have no faith with him to waste my time making a thread. If anything changes in the status of those latter three fugitives, I'll consider changing my mind and making profiles at a later time.
