Case Suggestions for upcoming seasons of The Hunt

I imagine that if they were going to do a 16-episode season at some point, they wanted to make sure The Hunt's first season was a success, which is why they only ordered eight episodes.

If not caught before the premiere of Season 2 (let's just hope there will be a Season 2), I have a feeling that they may do Eric Frein as the opening episode case.

A Case I wrote to Zero Point Zero Productions (producers of The Hunt) about:


Harold Jerry Mash. DOB 7-6-44  Blond, green eyes, about 6ft. 1in., built like a refrigerator

Mash is not on AMW list, but he should be!

Fact: I started doing some digging, and found Mash working for Chicago Public Schools in June, 2012.
Fact: Mash was arrested for assaulting a police officer in Toledo, Ohio in 1973.
Fact: Mash was forced to resign out of Toledo Public Schools in 1974, but was hired by Rossford Schools in 1974-75.


Fact: Mash is a serial child molester, and he was convicted in 1976 in Wood, County Ohio for molesting a 14-15 (John Doe 1) year old boy who was his student from Rossford HS..
Fact: Mash took JD1 from the Wood County conviction out of the state of Ohio, and took him to Georgia and Florida specifically to sexually abuse him.
Fact: Mash molested the entire freshman wrestling team at Rossford Schools, according to a witness who worked with Mash.

Fact: Mash molested my husband when he was 14, in 1978.
Fact: Mash left Ohio in 1981 to move to Georgia with his family
Fact: Mash moved to Davenport Iowa in 1984.
Fact: Mash was arrested for assaulting a woman in Davenport, Iowa in 1985.
Fact: Mash manipulated a family into adopting their ADULT son in Davenport, Iowa in 1985, and threatened to blow off his mothers head, and blow up her home if she did not cooperate.
Fact: Mash's wife filed for divorce. (Yes, believe it or not, he was married in 1970, the day after he molested John Doe 2)
Fact: The young man Mash tried to "adopt" had a relationship with Mash, and he died of AIDS related complications in Nov. 1986.
Fact: Mash was hired to work for Chicago Public Schools in 1990.

Mash was exposed on the front page of The Chicago Tribune on Nov. 2nd, 2012.

Fact: A whistle Blower from Maywood Schools in Chicago alleged that Mash abused boys in that school system in 2000-2001, and also used child pornography in his position as an assistant principal.
Fact: John Doe 2 from Toledo came forward Nov. 2nd, 2012, and told my husband's civil attorney that Mash molested him for almost 2 years, starting in 1970.


We tried to get Mash's disciplinary records released from Maywood in Jan., 2013, by doing a Request for Review with the Attorney General of Illinois. We were not successful.


Mash has 15+ more victims who've come forward in Chicago, but none have filed criminal charges.  I know at least three of them were within the statute of limitations (SOL) to file criminal charges. Most of these victims have filed civil law suits against Chicago Public Schools (CPS). Civil Attorneys have not filed cases publically, so other potential victim may be warned.  Cases are being handled "out of court".

Fact: Mash is a highly dangerous predator who should not be anywhere near children, and should be criminally convicted, and locked up.

Fact: Mash's partner, Nasario Rodriguez died just 6 days after Mash was exposed.

It's alleged that an alleged past Rossford victim "fell", from his 17th story dorm room window in 1982.

This monster needs to be hunted down, and put away.

Thank you! I'll definitely check it out. Maybe they can help me get the FBI to do something. I've had a lot of road blocks along the way, and the attorneys on these cases from Chicago Public Schools are civil suits from student Mash molested. We know for sure 3 of them were within the SOLs, because we met with the attorney twice, and I have several emails proving it.  Emails are a good thing-------->documents!
