Dear Shane Miller, Kevin Stoeser, and Brad Bishop, all three of you who have been profiled on this season's The Hunt. Dear Dave Burgert and Chris Ponce, who will be profiled on this weekend's show. Dear every other fugitive profiled on The Hunt this season,
I'm sure you're aware that in his 25 seasons on AMW, John Walsh caught over 1,200 fugitives. I'm sure you're aware after just three weeks, his new show tracked down Charles Mozdir, who refused to go quietly and was shot to death by US Marshals as a result.
I am reminding you since I really think it's best you turn yourselves in. Knowing John Walsh's track record, it's only a matter of time before he gets you next. I hope what happened to Charles Mozdir taught you a valuable lesson. When it comes to hunting down a fugitive that Mr. Walsh has profiled, law enforcement does not take any half-measures.
Turning yourself in is the best-case scenario for all involved. At least you can brag to your friends in prison that you were the Hunt's technical "first living capture."
If you choose not to, it's ok. John Walsh and the millions of viewers choosing to #JoinTheHunt will make sure you face justice anyway.
