From the Las Cruces Sun-News:
CHAPARRAL - A Chaparral man was charged Wednesday with multiple counts of child abuse, rape and criminal sexual contact with a child under the age of 13, authorities report.
This isn't the first time Pedro Orrantia, 54, has been charged with acting inappropriately towards children. Court documents state that, in 2004, he was charged with child indecency.
Court documents outline multiple instances in which he allegedly touched and assaulted a girl in his care.
When confronted about the alleged abuse, Orrantia allegedly physically assaulted a woman and a teenage boy, court documents state.
Multiple sources told investigators that Orrantia is a member of the Barrio Azteca gang.
Orrantia was last seen at an address off of McCombs in Chaparral. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office at 575-526-0759.

Thoughts? As far as I can tell, Orrantia is still at large as of this posting date (May 1st, 2020) since the above article was from only a few days ago. However if anyone ever has any updates/proof-of-updates, anyone is more than welcome to let us know.
Also this is apparently not Orrantia's first stint as a fugitive. Back in 2012, he was named one of the Marshals/New Mexico most wanted after violating parole for alleged assault on a family member (I don't know if it is the same alleged assault referred to in the 2020 article). They also mention previous charges of narcotics and assault on a public servant. In that 2012 fugitive case, Orrantia was eventually captured in Berino, New Mexico. So there is hope at least he is still in the states to get captured: www.abqjournal.com/139453/marshals-find-fugitive-in-berino.html
