Authorities in Lake City, Florida are searching for the unidentified killer of Linda Raulerson. The case was aired on AMW twice in 2009.
Around 8:30 PM on July 22, 2008, Linda Raulerson was nearing the end of her shift at a convenience store off of Interstate 10. Suddenly a black male holding a gun entered the store and shot Linda in the arm, then demanded she give him all the money in the register. She complied with all his demands, even showing him the register drawer to prove she had given him all the money. When the robber had grabbed all the money, he shot Linda one more time, killing her. He probably fled in a 1993-1995 four-door Buick Regal with white paint and black trim. Linda died at the scene when customers discovered her 15 minutes after the robbery and shooting.
Thoughts? This is pretty much the same as the unsolved murders of Billy Brossman and Leah Rowlands. They complied with all the demands of the robbers, and they were still shot and killed. The one thing about this case is that I doubt the killer lives in Lake City. Chances are if he did that he would be recognized by now. Lake City is at the intersection of Interstates 10 and 75 which contact to several nearby large cities, including Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Gainesville, Florida, along with Valdosta, Georgia.
