Jose Jesus Ibarra Ornelas
On July 14, 1997 the 26-year-old suspect enticed an 11-year-old Hispanic female child to leave home in Panorama City and accompany him to Mexico in a stolen vehicle. The investigation revealed an on-going sexual relationship between the suspect and victim. The suspect kept the victim in Mexico in hiding until April 11, 1998, while continuing their sexual relationship. The victim finally called home for relatives to retrieve her in Tijuana. The stolen vehicle is still outstanding. The suspect is believed to be traveling back and forth from Mexico to California on a regular basis. Last Know Address: 13352 Jamie Ave, Sylmar.

Thoughts? As of this posting date (March 23rd, 2020), Ornelas is still listed on the LAPD most wanted website, which granted is not the most updated website and has mainly cold case fugitives only, but since it still a functioning website enough for me to reasonably assume that he is probably still wanted as of this update. If that status has changed or changes in the future, anyone is more than welcome to let us know.
