I am really starting to feel anxious as to the anti-social rule in due to the Corona Virus. Although it has gotten me thinking... How on earth is the IPWJW hotline going to operate due to this epidemic?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I mean with all the shelter in place orders and the local law enforcement no matter where you live in America busy making sure that people follow the shelter in place laws.... What does that mean for the dirt bags and s who are still out there on the loose? I mean I don't know what's more worse...... The shelter in place laws due to the virus or you having to shelter in place and you think that the person with you and others might be 'WANTED' ??

Hey canineunit89,
It is very understandable to be concerned at a time like this.
This might sound like contradictory advice but I feel the best way to be optimistic is to be pessimistic for the next few months.
In other words, expect things to suck, our lives will change for a short period of time but we will get through this. Brace for the worst, but realize there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
As for IPWJW, their season was scheduled to end on April 1st anyway even before the coronavirus. I expect the manhunt to still go on in the meantime and for there to be "social distsncing" where those sitting on the hotline will be six feet away from each other.
The real complication is filming for the next season, for instance especially Cal's segments where he likes to shake hands/hug etc... but the show usually does not film until the summer anyway so hopefully that will give them enough time. Additionally, whether this will put a damper on AMW's possible come back as well since even if things go back to "normal" I take it preparation-wise they'll have lost a lot of precious time.
As for finding fugitives, while I would never call things a blessing in disguise, while they won't be out and about as much to be recognized, perhaps there will be more people at home viewing In Pursuit or other shows to recognize the fugitives when they might have been outside themselves.
But the health profession and law enforcement especially are two professions where they really have no choice but to continue doing what to do, although in a more careful way in the past.

P.S. Just wanted to mention I also just received an email from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (aka NCMEC) as I am on their mailing list. They stated they will continue their mission and do a lot of telework. In Pursuit and NCMEC share the same call center so this is encouraging news for In Pursuit.

QUESTION: What's the situation with IPWJW's phone lines? I mean with this virus on a mega rampage all over America are the tip takers at the secret location where email, text, and phone tips come in who's going to be able to get/answer and pass on/along the possible leads. I don't know as to how many operators J.W. has on his team of tip takers but with this virus going on.....

I take it some may be working from home, but as long as the show is still airing, I wouldn't worry about anything. Also please take note April 1st is when season 2 was supposed to end anyway, even before coronavirus.
