Yeah, I saw that. He definitely got off the hook easy.
ending of episode, unknown date, from Phoenix, AZ
Heather Thomas - girl who disappeared from Vancouver, Canada (I'm assuming the British Columbia province)
Kristy Lewis - Girl who disappeared from Chicago with her babysitter Anita Ragley and it is not known if Anita herself is a victim or if she abducted Kristy. (I can't immediately find anything about this case online).
October 14, 2000 (628 fugitives caught to date), from Charleston, South Carolina
Captured: Ernest & Kaia Jackson - Couple who nearly tortured their oldest son to death fled with their four other children and grandchild. Ernest & Kaia were apprehended and the four children saved, however their grandchild Ashani Creighton is still missing. And she's still missing to this day, 20 years later. www.charleyproject.org/cases/c/creighton_ashani.html
Update - Kevin Shifflett - Sad and infuriating case of young boy who was stabbed to death while playing with friends for absolutely no reason. DNA has linked Gregory Murphy to the crime, he was already behind bars for another crime.
Kenneth Raulerson & Jared Soper - Are wanted for stealing an ATM, Raulerson is also wanted for numerous bank robberies.
Tristan "Buddy" Myers - I'm familiar with this one. Young boy from North Carolina disappeared and it still missing to this day, 17 years later. www.charleyproject.org/cases/m/myers_tristen.html
Robert Wine - Is wanted for his part in an armed robbery of a convenience store in the Bronx.
National Zoo Robbery - Authorities searching for several suspects who robbed an office in the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. They subsequently mistreated a pregnant woman and a sick employee.
Daniel & Martha Crow - Repeat airing of couple wanted for running a pyramid scheme.
Klever & Lillian - Last name unknown, Brazilian born couple from Plano, Texas were murdered in their apartment, and Lillian was sexually assaulted. John Walsh runs down 5 mostly unique items stolen from the apartment that may lead to the killer(s). (Huh. I'm not immediately finding anything online about this case either.)
James Compton - Was serving time for assault, battery with intent to kill and robbery when he escaped from the Northside prison in South Carolina.
Michael Barerra & Enrique Coropuna - Again.

Bizarre case.
In essence, the issue with Frederic was a false lead. He wasn't Nicholas, but what happened with that whole event was certainly interesting. Frederic pretended to be Nicholas, moved in with the family (keeping his face obscured) and this went on for some time. Granted, since several years passed between Nicholas's disappearance and Frederic moving in, the family would have to figure that Nicholas's appearance would have changed. But considering the person living with them had a different eye color and French language characteristics, it should have been a huge tip-off this person wasn't Nicholas.
In the movie the Impostor (a documentary film that has been show on CNN and HLN fairly recently), several family members are interviewed, including Nicholas's mother and sister (I'm a bit confused on the brother situation, more on that later.) They show clips of the actual reunion. What you see is a mixture of emotions. The sister looks positively elated, smiling brightly, while other relatives have a more somber tone. If the sister is acting, she sure did a good job.
The sister talks about being fooled by Frederic: "How could I be so (expletive) stupid?" Either she's telling the truth or she's acting very well. It's entirely possible she's acting, but it should be noted she puts herself down in a major way on film.
The huge question here is this: Did the family legitimately believe that Frederic was Nicholas? (they would have had to be pretty dense) OR, did the family know Frederic was NOT Nicholas but paraded him around as Nicholas anyways to hopefully thwart any potential ongoing investigation into the family? It's possible the brother killed Nicholas and the family either knows or suspects and were covering for him. The movie does state that Nicholas and the brother did not get along very well.
In regards to the brother thing, the one that was suspected is deceased now. There was a brother-in-law (I think) that was interviewed for the film. Also, there's a young guy in the reunion part of the film and I have no idea if this is a brother, a cousin, a friend or what. His name is never mentioned and no one ever alludes to him.
Baffling.

Ah, thanks for that HeadMarshal. I just recently discovered newspapers.com, it is a tremendous resource.
Well darn. I was really hoping I had more of this October 4, 1997 episode, but it was just the first part. Let's get to it:
Captured: John Huggins - Man who was turned in by his wife for the murder of Carla Larson Keller.
Captured: Timothy White - Fugitive from last week apprehended quickly.
Lorris Robinson - Gang member associated with David Askew (capture #310), is wanted for multiple crimes. John Walsh pleads for all courts to allow victims impact statements to be read. (partial segment and rest of episode not present).
I can tell that the episode also contained Raymond Young (another airing of that segment) as well as the latest news on the Starbucks murders.

I couldn't find anything for those cases either. I initially misspelled Floridalma's last name (I edited the earlier post), but still came up with zilch. She was kidnapped by a group of immigrant farm workers, so that may explain the lack of articles online.
Lili McKee/Vernon Dobbs was one of those real quick profiles and their names weren't put up on the screen. Re-watching that part, her name may have been/is Lilian or Leighann or something to that effect.

Timothy White - Is accused of murdering his new wife Patricia Gray so he could collect on a $200,000 life insurance policy. Also wanted for arson.
Ramon Arellanos - Violent Mexican drug cartel leader is the-then newest addition to the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List.
Ed Brown - Escaped from prison in Pennsylvania and went on a bank robbing spree on the Eastern seaboard.

Thank you scumhunter. I tried the article on another computer and was able to read it. The following composite sketches of the female are in this order: Wallace Guidroz, Nyleen Kay Marshall, Russell Mort. Please compare these and let me know what you think.

I'm familiar with this case.
I'm 99.9% sure the article is wrong. I have seen nearly every segment of Unsolved Mysteries and Mort was never profiled. UM did not cover any of the most famous missing children's cases of the late 70's/mid 80's (Etan Patz, Johnny Gosch, Kevin Collins, Jacob Wetterling, etc). Also, I have nearly all 400 episodes of Forensic Files (missing only a handful) and Mort is nowhere to be seen on any of them and it's highly unlikely they would have an unsolved case on there.
I believe he was abducted. Interestingly, the late Michelle McNamara believed this case might be tied to another boy who disappeared during the same time frame, Wallace Guidroz. Although they happened on opposite sides of the country, they were both near the Canadian border, leading to the possibility that someone from Canada was dipping into the U.S. to steal children to take back to there. There was a mysterious couple also seen here during the time of Wallace's disappearance that look eerily similar to the couple seen in the vicinity of Mort when he disappeared, although the pictures aren't loading for me this time: www.truecrimediary.com/index.cfm?page=cases&id=119
Throwing my two cents into it, there is another possible missing child's case from the time frame that could also be linked, Nyleen Kay Marshall, who was profiled on Unsolved Mysteries. www.charleyproject.org/cases/m/marshall_nyleen.html
This was a bit further down, but still relatively close to the Canadian border as Montana does border Canada. And again, two suspects seen and again it's one male and one female. (is it possible to upload images from my desktop on here?)
Nyleen's parents received a horrifying letter postmarked from Wisconsin after her disappearance. Wisconsin being another state that borders Canada.
I couldn't read the article linked to by Scumhunter, I kept getting those "Security Alert" error messages.

March 20, 1999 (555 fugitives caught to date)
Michael Buttram - Is wanted for the home invasion killing of his ex-fiancée and mother in Georgia.
Captured: Lena Townsend - Woman who beat her 4 year old granddaughter to death in Tennessee was apprehended in Arizona.
Rafael Ramirez - Is wanted for beating, raping and killing popular Dr. Claudia Benton in Texas while her husband and kids were away. He made himself a snack in her house after the killing. He has a lengthy rap sheet dating back to the 70's. Happened in an affluent neighborhood, however there was a transient camp nearby.
Dennis Lilly - Has escaped from prison numerous times in Kansas and Missouri.
Asheville, NC abortion clinic bombing - Authorities believe notorious Eric Rudolph (of the Atlanta Olympics bombing) could be invoved.
Enrique Coropuna & Company - Are wanted for several violent robberies.
Orland Park, IL Shell gas station killing - Extremely bizarre case. Unknown gunman in camouflage entered gas station and killed Robert Collins (the man on duty) without stealing anything, motive unknown. A "Bob Reynolds from Poole Trucking" supposedly on his way back to Oregon called in with a crucial tip but an attendant error led to the call being terminated prematurely. Authorities could find no record of an employee by that name with that company anywhere.
Randolph Biernat - A thoroughly creepy pedophile who raped his stepdaughter for many years and videotaped it skipped out on his court date.
Update: Yosemite disappearances - Bodies have been found.
Captured: Mark Allen - Man with lengthy rap sheet who committed many robberies and a carjacking was apprehended while trying to pass himself off as a U.S. Marshall investigating his own case.
Jesus Antonio Tejeda - Beat a 2 year old girl under his care to death.
"Booby Boys"/Kenneth Williams - again.
Aundria Crawford - Disappeared in same general area as Kristin Smart and authorities believed they could be linked (they weren't).

Re: Larry Castaneda, the homeless angle is a good one. IIRC, the segment had some debate as to whether he would be bearded or clean-shaven. If he was bearded, I could see him being among the homeless as he looked kind of scraggly.
Emma Tresp is a sad one. That poor woman was doing just fine until she encountered the worst luck: Hitting a large rock in the road (what the.., what was it doing in the road?) and it damaged her car. She presumably left to get help and disappeared from there.

March 13, 1999 (555 fugitives caught to date)
Roger Dale Yeadon - Searching for this murderer, who is the last remaining member of a prison break-out group still at large. He has escaped from prison four times.
Captured: Martin Allen Johnson - Child rapist has been captured.
David Stevens - Bodybuilder found dead in his burning car, cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. Police believe the normally wholesome Stevens got desperate after being unable to find a date and hooked up with a topless dancer, who killed him. In any event, a female killer is suspected.
Las Vegas robbery - Searching for two robbers who held up a building where casino winnings are kept. John Walsh pleads for informative tipster to call back.
Update: Christopher Burgess - Gang member who beat a 19 month old child to death has been arrested and convicted.
Update: Hazel Head - Long distance truck driver believes he gave the fugitive a ride to Michigan and said she was trying to get to Las Vegas.
Update: Shannon Schiber - Case has been linked to two other assaults on women through DNA, composite sketch (possibly from one of the other attacks) is released.
Update: Yosemite disappearances - Police believe women ran into foul play at the motel and not in the park.

Washington, D.C. Starbucks murders - Tipster who broke the case open speaks.
William Doerr - Is also wanted, but profile was very brief and I couldn't glean any info from it.
