Fugitive Profile as of November 14th, 2019: (Based on fbi.gov wanted poster) Date(s) of Birth Used: September 23, 1997 (22 years old as of 11/14/2019) Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue Height: 6'0 Weight: 145 pounds Sex: Male Race: White TIPS: If the fugitive is seen, individuals should contact law enforcement immediately by calling 911 or the FBI at 804-261-1044 From wdbj7.com: FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ7)-- A man is wanted after a homicide case in Franklin County Saturday. According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, the homeowner at a house on Woodthrush Circle in the Hardy Community was found dead at the residence by a family member and called police. Michael Alexander Brown, 22, who was determined to last live on Woodthrush Circle, has been named as a person of interest. The Sheriff's Office originally believed he was driving a 1976 white Cadillac with no registered plates. However, new information leads authorities to believe he could be driving a black 2008 Lincoln Town Car. Brown is listed as 6' and weighing 145 pounds. www.wdbj7.com/content/news/Man-wanted-for--564708272.htmlThoughts? Based on local news reports, Brown was still wanted as a person of interest least as of today's posting date (November 10th, 2019). Articles have yet to identify the homeowner's identity. Also a technical note that this is Franklin County, Virginia as there a few states with a Franklin County. As a matter of fact, the other fugitive I profiled on our site today is from Franklin County, Ohio but that was coincidence and not intentional. Some more information coming out- victim is Rodney Brown. Michael Brown is the son of Rodney Brown's live-in girlfriend. Michael Brown is a former Marine and was last stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina where he worked as a combat engineer. No known motive, at least not publicly revealed, at the moment. Here is an additional photo of Brown from the new article: wset.com/news/local/wanted-ex-marine-armed-and-dangerous-in-franklin-co

P.S. I know the timing of when someone chooses to allegedly commit murder isn't something I technically have to apologize for, but in light of this being Veteran's Day, I am sorry this breaking news is happening.
Most men and women who serve are risking and sacrificing their lives for our country, and Brown happens to be part of a small percentage that allegedly have done something terrible. There's a small percentage of any category of human being that wind up doing something terrible.
I know no one is thinking badly of soldiers because of Brown, but it further compounds this tragic case that it had to happen on a weekend to honor our veterans.

Well I really appreciate everyone being unified in the effort to find and arrest Michael Alexander Brown. With his cache of weapons and active murder warrant, he really needs to be found sooner than later.
It’s also an FBI featured fugitive case addition we can all agree with.

With such a common name it's not unusual but now the FBI has Jason Brown and Michael Brown to search for.
Also, not making excuses for him, and have no idea if he ever even spent time overseas, but I think this case does also highlight issues with those who serve later becoming violent.
I don't know if there's any mental health or PTSD issues in regards to Brown, but there is with other soldiers and they're not adequately treated.
As for Brown, if he is caught and convicted he deserves to be given whatever is deemed appropriate punishment up to a life sentence as actions have consequences (Virginia has the death penalty but I don't think it applies here as this is a second degree murder case) and I'm not taking away his personal responsibility and the need to hold those who commit crimes accountable. It's just I wish we could do more for our troops to try to prevent more tragedies like this from happening.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the FBI added Michael Brown to the Top Ten List soon, as it’s been a few days without any major developments but hopefully it won’t be necessary, but he could either bump someone currently on the list or the bureau makes the determination that he’s bad enough and the current 10 are bad enough as well that he becomes the rare number 11.
In any case, this guy was trained to survive and kill and locating him without anything bad going down upon capture would be difficult.

Do you know the last time the FBI added a number 11? I'm not saying this as a smart-alecky question since I think it's happened before, but I can swear like the 80's was the last time that happened so I doubt it.
I think Alexis Flores (unfortunately) is the only spot that could possible be replaced at this point, (there's no in between... they're either close to capturing him or have given up, unfortunately it looks like the latter but I sincerely hope not) so they might do something like increase the reward instead.
Apparently he was in Roanoke because he was banging on his grandmother's door.

Unfortunately if it’s Flores’ time then unfortunately it is as much as it hurts to say that.
