I was just recently thinking about Lamont Stephenson's capture in Prince George's County, MD and I remember just how close my county was that he was nabbed....... That's possibly the closest ever capture of an FBI Top Tenner/The Hunt/In Pursuit fugitive near me. I was just wondering have there been any AMW/HUNT/In Pursuit captures near anyone in their home town, city, or even county?

Capture #792, Shawn Dale "Head" Bovee, was in Irvine, CLFA when he freaked out about his AMW appearance and got busted as a direct result back in the spring of '004.
Capture #1124, Larry Burns, was busted on his alias' birthday in Long Beach, CLFA in the summer of '010.

I'm from New York City so obviously there have been a lot wanted or captured here. I don't want to reveal too much about myself and state exactly where I live or have lived though lol.
For me what was surreal was when Charles Mozdir was killed in a shootout in the east village because people were talking about there being a shooting in the east village at work and I didn't even realize the guy shot dead was Mozdir until I checked my phone after work. (It hadn't dawned on me it could be a Hunt fugitive because crazy stuff like shootouts happen all the time in big cities and there was nothing about Mozdir possibly being in ny. So along with it being a busy day that's why I didn't bother to check my phone, not because I'm so good at not looking at my cell phone when at work lol).

This might be a long shot in the dark in The Big Apple but did you like know Mozdir (by an alias) or was he like running from pursuing NYPD officers and he ran into your place of business to barricade himself and shoot it out with NYC's finest?

After you'd founded out it was Mozdir was it like you felt like you had to puke or do a Danny Thomas spit take?

No thankfully I didnt know Mozdir. I did not work where he worked. I spent a lot of time in the east Village in college but my workplace was in another part of Manhattan. It was just big news all over the city that there was a shootout and a man was shot dead.

No my immediate reaction was just "holy sh** that's the creepy pedophile and dog porn guy from The Hunt" lol.

#859 Mark Cerino in Waterloo,NY. As with many of the white collar/con artists AMW has caught over the years,Mark didn't think it was fair to be profiled right along murderers and rapists since he didn't kill anyone. He added insult to injury when he stole money from people who had homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina yet doesn't think that is worthy of AMW coverage. No shock that he violated his probation after getting out of prison with that attitude is it?

Capture #710, Anthony Carter, was captured in Iowa City. I've driven past the Kum & Go where he was spotted on multiple occasions.
Capture #726, Samuel Jones, was captured in Chicago. Tipsters said he was living at a homeless shelter on Michigan Avenue. I know exactly where that homeless shelter is and have walked past it more times than I can count.
Capture #1,062, Brandon Cheville, was found working at a tattoo parlor that's actually about 45 minutes to an hour away from where I currently live and work (Boone, Iowa). A friend of mine had actually been to that tattoo parlor before, and while I don't think she knew him, she was freaked out when it happened.
But the weirdest? A couple years ago I was talking to my friends about AMW, and one of them told me that a cab driver who drove them to their lake house in Missouri mentioned that AMW helped free him. He said he was wrongfully convicted of killing his mother. I asked my friend if the guy's name was Dale Helmig, and she said that he told them his name was Dale. That really freaked me out when I learned that.

Now that is definitely worthy of a Danny Thomas spit take, that fact about Dale Helmig becoming a cab driver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember back in the old AMW days when they profiled Dale's case like I think it was two or three times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also remember Cheville being nabbed in the tattoo parlor in Iowa, that was back during the days when I was in high school and not just Cheville but other members of the biker gang he ran with seemed to be dropping like flies and dominos all in one flick.
