From Denver Patch:
DENVER, CO -- A man who allegedly shot into a crowd in Sept., 2015 was found guilty of attempted murder and assault Friday, but didn't hear the jury verdict because he failed to appear in court. Francisco Perez, 28, is now wanted by police.
Perez was found guilty of four counts of attempted first-degree murder, one count of first-degree assault and three counts of attempted first-degree assault.
Prosecutors said in Sept. 2015, Perez opened fire on four persons following a verbal altercation in the 4300 block of North Tejon Street, seriously injuring one of the victims. Perez was inside a black Lincoln vehicle at the time with a fellow occupant, and the four victims were in two separate vehicles before approaching the Lincoln on foot when the shooting occurred, according to a statement from the Denver District Attorney's Office.
Perez was free on bond, but failed to return to court today for his ongoing jury trial, which began Nov. 27. A warrant for Perez' arrest was issued, the trial continued Friday where and the jury returned a guilty verdict.
Police said Perez should be considered armed and dangerous. He may or may not be wearing glasses. Citizens are urged NOT to approach Perez if they see him. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Francisco Perez should call 911 or Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867, or text DMCS plus your message at 274637.

Thoughts? I must admit I'm taking a chance here in that I can't confirm Perez is still at large as of this posting date (4/5/2019). I am simply assuming so since I can't find any new articles since that 2017 escape. If anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
