Roland Aguilar, wanted out of San Antonio (Bexar County), is wanted for two separate but very troubling alleged incidents involving women.
In September 2014, Aguilar, said to be an amateur photographer, was accused of sexually assaulting an intoxicated model he met at a bar.
According to a San Antonio Police Department spokesman, it's alleged that Aguilar took legitimate photos of her throughout the night that showed her becoming more and more inebriated.
Later in the evening, after the woman had become highly intoxicated, Aguilar took her to a hotel, police said. A security officer told police he saw Aguilar carry the woman, who was scantily clad, into a room.
The officer immediately called police because of the suspicious activity. When police arrived, they found the woman inside the room, still extremely inebriated, according to authorities.
According to police, the woman was unaware of any wrongdoing that had occurred and did not initially make an outcry. However, days later she was able to piece incidents from the evening together with help from a third party and determined that she was sexually assaulted.
Using evidence obtained at the scene of the alleged assault, officers decided that the assault had occurred.
Roland Aguilar was charged with the sexual assault but for some reason was bonded out. January 2015 is when his next confirmed alleged attack, an attempted kidnapping at a fast food restaurant, would occur.
In early January 2015, Bexar County, Texas law enforcement officers responded to a call for an assault in progress at the Whataburger in the 2200 block of East Evans Road. A witness saw who they believed to be Aguilar struggling with the victim, a 16-year-old girl, over a gun.
The victim, her 18-year-old friend and Aguilar all worked together at a 7-Eleven. According to the alleged account, after receiving a phone call from Aguilar and telling him her location, the victim and her friend were at the Whataburger counter. Aguilar allegedly entered the restaurant, came up to the victim, put his arm around her and said, “You are coming with me” as he held a gun to her side. As they started walking to the door, and exited the restaurant, she managed to get possession of the gun, ran back inside and placed the gun on the counter. The suspect believed to be Aguilar then fled in his vehicle.
Law enforcement officers later learned Aguilar has an alleged photography business and tries to get young girls to model for him. The victim stated he tried to get her to model but she refused.
After investigating this case, detectives immediately requested an arrest warrant for Aguilar issued January 6, 2015 for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Aguilar had also violated the conditions of his bond for the September 2014 alleged sexual assault, which made two felony warrants for his arrest.
Not only would Aguilar become a wanted man, but the manhunt for him is now international as he listed as having a Red Notice on Interpol's website as of this posting date (9/23/2018). (A Red Notice is pretty much the closest thing to an international arrest warrant (explained here: www.justice.gov/usam/criminal-resource-manual-611-interpol-red-notices)

Thoughts? Interpol's website lists Aguilar as being a native of Germany, so it seems an obvious possibility that he may have fled back there. But wherever he is in the country or world, it is very concerning and I unfortunately would not be surprised if he has even more alleged victims out there. What is scary is the escalation in his alleged crimes as he went from allegedly assaulting a woman who wasn't aware of what was happening to an even more violent gunpoint attempt in the alleged kidnapping. I am very glad that brave young girl was able to fight him off in the last known alleged incident, because with a gun who knows what would have happened had he successfully abducted her.
If anyone knows where this guy is, please do the right thing. Young women, especially models from all over the world, are not safe with this guy still out there.
