(Above: Left: Jonathan Nunez-Coronado and Victor Nunez-Coronado (missing) Right: Dimas Coronado (Fugitive, wanted on three murder charges. Photo Credits: CBS News via Phoenix Police Department) From CBS News: Police in Phoenix have issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of abducting his two sons after fatally shooting their pregnant mother and another man. The Phoenix Police Department said investigators have probable cause to arrest 47-year-old Dimas Coronado on suspicion of three counts of homicide, CBS Phoenix affiliate KPHO-TV reports. "He is considered armed and dangerous," Sgt. Armando Carbajal of the Phoenix Police Department told the station in an email. On Saturday, authorities issued an Amber Alert for the two boys, 8-year-old Victor Coronado-Nunez and 5-year-old Jonathan Coronado-Nunez. The alert remains active as of Sunday morning. Police said they responded to a double shooting at 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The victims were identified as 24-year-old Oralia Nunez, the mother of the boys, and 34-year-old Omar Gonzalez. A cousin told KPHO-TV Nunez was eight months pregnant. Police said Nunez's roommate came home from work and discovered the victims. Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene and Nunez was rushed to the hospital where she died. Nunez and Coronado had been married for nine years, police said, but they were living apart for the past several months. Investigators said there was a history of domestic violence. A friend of the family said Nunez was afraid of Coronado because she was fighting for custody of the children. Investigators are looking for a green Ford pickup truck with a white camper shell. The truck has a State of Chihuahua license plate with the number ZUD 7164. Authorities are encouraging the public to contact the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151 or Silent Witness at either 480-WITNESS (948-6377) or 1-800-343-TIPS (8477). Spanish speakers may call 480-TESTIGO (837-8446).www.cbsnews.com/news/amber-alert-phoenix-dimas-coronado-accused-abducting-2-sons-killing-mother-2018-09-01/Missingkids.org Amber Alert link: api.missingkids.org/poster/AMBER/30166/10941/screenThoughts? Usually we add someone to the site as a breaking news case because it's a triple homicide case or a child murder case or a child abduction case. I've never seen anything like this- and not in a good way- where (if you count the unborn child, I certainly do but certain states have different laws when it comes to charging in homicide cases) the case combines ALL three criteria and not just one or two. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's missingkids.org website still has an Amber Alert for Jonathan and Victor as of this posting date (9/2/2018). Hopefully they can be recovered soon as this is- and I'm understating here- a very serious situation. UPDATE: As of January 16th, 2019, anyone with information on this case can also call "In Pursuit" on the Investigation Discovery channel at 1-833-3-PURSUE and/or submit a tip at the show's website: www.InPursuitTips.comAdmin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

For readers who are near the Mexican State of Chihuahua (El Paso, Texas/Las Cruces, New Mexico area) be on the lookout as Dimas may be heading in your direction based on his vehicle's license plate.
This is an incredibly serious situation. The Border Patrol in Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas need to be aware of this. Hopefully someone can help rescuing these two children from this alleged monster.

The children are still listed as AMBER Alerts on the NCMEC website, and as the hours tick by without any resolution, you only hope and pray that they are still alive. Let's hope that they are found safe and sound.

After almost 24 hours after my last post, there have been no updates on this case. Like I said, as this continues, the chances of the children being found alive are getting slimmer by the hour.

I'm assuming you mean no updates on this case as in no updates in the news? Unfortunately seems so.

Unfortunately as per site policy, breaking news cases are unstickied after one week, but don't worry forum readers as I will continue to monitor this case.
Unfortunately Dimas and the boys are probably in Mexico by now.
Live PD is currently in off-season but when they come back I think in a week or two I hope they make this their weekly missing child (or in this case children) case should there unfortunately be still no resolution.

Unfortunately despite the severity of this manhunt, I haven't seen a story in Google News on it since Thursday. I feel I've said this before in other cases, but maybe if the media could stop talking about the Trump Presidancy for eight minutes and report on this story, that would be extremely helpful. Not only do we need to get a very dangerous fugitive to face his alleged charges in a court of law, but we need to bring these two young boys home safe.

I can do without the politicization of the illegal immigration issue (what I'm about to link to is a conservative site news story), since my main focus and goal is just making sure Jonathan and Victor are found safe, but Coronado is said to have a violent history in his native Mexico. He "reportedly worked as a cartel hitman and fled to the United States because a team of assassins from Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, were hunting him." according to a below link: www.dailywire.com/news/35478/cartel-connected-illegal-alien-murders-2-adults-ryan-saavedra

We've said this several times and I wish we didn't have to keep saying this, but if Jonathan and Victor were of non-Hispanic Caucasian descent, perhaps there would be the international media/law enforcement to the extent of what's being done to find Jayme Closs safe and alive. Of course I hope Jonathan, Victor and Jayme Closs are all found safe and alive, this is still annoying nonetheless.

Yeah I hate to say it but it's true. It's not Jayme's fault she's getting more press, but Jonathan and Victor actually had a known abductor who actually has allegedly killed multiple times and the media publicity wasn't as expansive.
I hope all three of them are eventually found safe.

I hope all three of them are eventually found safe. It's almost now at the three-month point, and they are still missing. The AMBER Alert is still in effect. Yet, there has not been anything said about it in the media ever since mid-September. This case would have been a tailor made one for AMW.

I think besides the unfortunate racial aspect we've had to address, another reason I feel perhaps the media isn't taking this case as seriously as it should be is that Dimas is Jonathan and Victor's father, and despite being a triple murder suspect who allegedly killed their mother, they figure he wouldn't go so far as to kill his own children as well.
The problem is you can't make that assumption as you don't what a guy who likely feels very desperate is capable of.
I'm in shock Jonathan and Victor haven't even been Live PD's missing case of the week yet, however.
