DESCRIPTION:
On December 24, 2008,Tilfas was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants.
Tilfas was traveling westbound on SR 516 at Military Road when he crossed the center line and struck
another vehicle head on; two occupants in the other vehicle sustained serious injuries as a result.
Tilfas, stationed at Joint Base Lewis McChord, was scheduled to deploy to Iraq in Spring 2009. He
subsequently went Absent Without Leave (AWOL) from the military and has failed to show up for
court in Washington State. There is reason to believe Tilfas may be living in the Philippines or
Micronesia. The military also has a valid No Bail warrant (090812007) on Tilfas for AWOL.
